Human Resource Strategy Formulation: Process Review in the Tanzania Public Sector

This study examined the effect of human resource strategy formulation process on HR outcome. Drawing three modes namely rational, adaptive, and interactive, a cross-sectional research design was adopted. Using structured questionnaires, data were collected from managers/ directors 53 state corporations in Tanzania. Correlations analysis also performed to find out direction relationship among variables. Multiple regression employed test number hypothesized relationships. A request for document made State Corporations if one existed. Findings indicates that 18 had 34 none. Results further demonstrate rational accounted 22.6 adaptive explained 6.3 percent variation outcome, while interactive has no significant with concludes outcome strategies public sector organizations is function processes very few have documents strategies. Public organization are urged adopt easy implementation strategy.
